I was so excited last night because I finally decided on my accessories for the wedding and bought them, but then I got a message from one of the sellers on etsy that they can't ship to California due to lead laws. WTF? So now I am without a necklace and trying to decide what to do. I have the option to have it sent to someone outside of California and have them bring it to me, but I really have to wonder if the whole thing is coated in lead and I'm going to get lead poisoning. I was trying to look at alternative necklaces last night but I was a little upset because I was excited to have made a decision. So what do you ladies think? 1. Should I order it and have it sent to someone outside of California? 2. Should I pick a different necklace? 3. Should I go sans necklace on the big day? Here is the necklace I wanted Also, here are the hair pins and earrings I got!

I'd order it and have it sent to someone outside California. I can't imagine you'd get lead poisoning from wearing a necklace a few times.

I cosign what sarahkat said- I'd have someone order it and send/bring it to me. How much are they? Can you pay pal one of us and we'll have it shipped to you?

A friend suggested I say it is a gift and have it shipped to her sister in Utah. I might do that.
