I posted in another thread that FH was scheduled to go to the doctor tomorrow due to some problems he has been having. Things have gotten progressively worse and he luckily was able to get into his primary care doctor this morning.
This doctor was great at first, he has gone to several who just want to get him out of the door. Yes, it was a last minute appointment, but he is just trying to push a prescription instead of investigating what the actual problem is. He changed the appointment to go in early because we thought he either had an appendix problem or a hernia. His stomach is "bloated" so much that he can't even button his jeans (the elastic band in his pj pants are even too much pressure) and his stomach is constantly making noise. He's had a lot of problems with his "boys" in the past, and they are tender to the touch. There is a little more to it, but I won't go into that because I don't think anyone really wants all of those details. But they just gave him an antibiotic and it is an infection in the tubes. Okay, maybe? But what about in the mean time? Do we have to wait 3 weeks to see if this is what it is?
He even had to wait an extra hour to see the doctor because they were behind schedule which I do somewhat understand because of the added appointment, but there are 9 other doctors. How are you 4 people behind schedule already at 10:30am?
Sorry for the rambling, it is just so frustrating to see FH hurting and seeing doctors take everything so lightly. It takes a lot for him to come in, don't just dismiss him in 5 minutes and try to push a bunch of pills on him.
Oh, and added bonus for the day, my bank called and had to shut off my debit card because of a data breach. Which explains why it kept declining when I got groceries over the weekend.
I just can't adult any more today.
