What is everyone eating today? We DO love our food threads, don't we? lol
After my costume BARELY fit on Saturday night, I'm skipping my morning cuppa tea, and pounding water.
Breakfast: a slice of the casserole my DH made on Saturday: eggs, TONS of spinach, green onion, and a bit of tomato basil jack cheese. Lunch: Homemade teriyaki turkey burger (no bun) with grilled pineapple. Dinner: DH is making chicken stir fry and brown rice.

sarahkat everything sounds delicious!! Flax seeds are supposed to be super good for you, aren't they? I should look into them as well.

Breakfast: turkey, eggs and spinach in a whole wheat wrap. Pretty much get this every work day from the place I work next to.
Lunch: crockpot beef with onions and carrots and a banana.
Dinner: unsure. Going out for drinks tonight so might eat then or might have crockpot beef for dinner.

I had a great plan, but ended up stopping at McDonald's for coffee and got tempted by one of the breakfast biscuits. And then I of course made it a meal, and added hashbrowns. Gym is a definite tonight.
Lunch will be the oatmeal english muffin and peanut butter I originally brought with me for breakfast, and I'm not sure what's on the menu for dinner yet.

Breakfast: Banana and Dark chocolate oatmeal square Lunch: Cream Cheese & Chive crackers Dinner: Marinated baked chicken or chicken enchiladas
We're trying to cut down our ground beef and sub in chicken or ground turkey. I'm anti chicken for the most part because it seems like I always feel nauseated after eating it (yes, I use a thermometer and have bought 2 different ones to make sure one wasn't broken). So I've decided I'm semi-chicken intolerant...even if that isn't a thing.

Are they always prepared the same way? (Grilled, baked, fried, etc) I have an issue with chicken, because its cheap, and when we were doing meal prep for 3 people, it was the easiest protein to work with...I ate chicken 2 times a day at least, every day for 6 months. I'm trying to do less chicken this time around. lol

yasminadlv - Usually it seems like baked is what is worse. I've tried different brands but it always seems like oven baked is what is the trouble. Any time I cook chicken in a pan on the stove I overcook the shit out of it because I'm terrified of getting sick.

That's strange...especially with you checking the temperature. But I feel for you. Food sensitivities are the WORST.

FH was unsure about stuffed shells. But he loved them and already took care of the left overs so he will have them for work.
