So, question for you guys.
Soreness after sex.
Its been a little while for DH and I, and we had some sexy time on Saturday. First time in probably over a month.
I am REALLY sore. Like...sore just sitting here doing nothing...hurts when I pee type of sore.
We're both clean (tested recently, no new partners since before the tests), so I know it isn't anything like that...and it wasn't painful during...
any thoughts? I guess I'm gonna have to get a jar of coconut oil to keep by the bed for future endeavors.

yasminadlv there have been a few times that I was sore after sex if it had been awhile in between. It usually only lasted a day or two after. It didn't hurt during but if it was rough then the friction would would cause little tears. Urine can be like putting rubbing alcohol on it and can cause burning. If it last more then a few days then I would get checked out. Some stds can stay dormant for months or even years before they show up on a test or show symptoms.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I guess it was a tiny bit rough...but if it gets any worse, or doesn't get better by Wednesday, I'll head to my doctor, just to be safe.

We have just accepted it and now integrate it into foreplay. This only started happening about two to three years ago. It's like something in my lady ecosystem shifted. I'm also really prone to yeast infections, so I always pee and shower after to keep everything clean. It's not the most sexy thing in the world, but whaddya gonna do? Lol

Lol I think its a good idea for us to start doing that too...the last time, he used a synthetic one that was supposed to "heat and cool", and I broke out like MAD!! (super sensitive skin too) lol Coconut Oil seems to do really well for us though, so I may just buy some to keep in the bedroom. My body's been through some changes over the last few months too, so I'm sure that has something to do with it: no more birth control, surgeries, weight gain...(I don't think the weight gain has anything to do with it, but it IS a change.) And I did just turn 36. Ah, getting older.

Portland has a female friendly adult shop in town and I went there and grabbed a bunch of samples. When we tried Blossom, it was amazing and we never looked back. It's well worth the price. www.blossom-organics.com/natural-moisturizing-lubricant/

We've never tried any natural ones though what we have going on works best for us. I think we tried that heat and cool one too and it didn't work well for me either.

We get it on Amazon now since we originally bought it somewhere else then ran out. It doesn't have a scent or flavor and is 100% edible (or so it says) and I haven't had any problems when it does get in my mouth (lol). Good stuff- it lasts a long time too so no re-application.

Glad you're already feeling better - Maybe it really is just more sexy time needed! We rarely use lube, really only with anal play and every so often I get dry the few days after my period. We also have a very active sex life, 5-6 times weekly is norm for us. Someone got me an over the door sex swing at my bachelorette party and I cannot wait to use it!!

Because of the long distance and low libido sometimes it's two or three weeks. Not on purpose... But it makes the next day a little sensitive. Usually it's gone in two days. But if it doesn't go away definitely see someone.

We always use lube now. Luckily for me I'm not sensitive and can use anything. We use the his and her ky jelly. And Astroglide for anything anal.
